DES participated in the Scripps National Spelling Bee this month. The 5 winners are Avery Cooper, Anna Brenneis, Cooper Fortenberry, Naima Jackson, and Kailub Ladner. Congratulations to all who participated.
The third grade students participated in the “Great Cabbage Grow Off” this year. Pine Hills Nursery in Pass Christian sponsored us and donated all the cabbages.

Pirates: It has been reported that our sweet Andre has transitioned. It deeply saddens us to learn of his passing. We ask all of Pirate Nation to keep this family in your prayers during their time of bereavement.
