Our Commitment to Excellence

DeLisle Elementary School is committed to providing children from kindergarten to grade five with an academically challenging program in a nurturing and supportive environment. As children progress through the upper elementary grades, reading and writing change focus. The focus of the literacy program is to create fluent readers and writers whose command of language is exemplary. Children involved in math and science thrive in an environment that is rich in problem solving and inquiry. In social studies, children move from learning about their community to an in-depth understanding of the culture and diversity that makes out country unique. Teachers and students regularly use technology to enrich every subject area. 

Parent involvement at DeLisle Elementary is an integral part of the school’s culture. Our Partners in Education provide the school with activities, supplies and programs to enrich our curriculum and beautify our school grounds.
